Recipe Book Cover Printable

It has become quite a tradition to give the bride-to-be a book of recipes and letters of encouragement at her kitchen tea to start her off on her new life of marriage. So for all you bridesmaids prepping for your friends wedding, I thought I would share the same cover I made in the past for my best friend’s bridal shower, and give it to you as a free printable. It’s a great chance for everyone to get creative and it will be a big blessing for the bride-to-be, reminding her of the special people in her life every time she tries a new recipe. Head over to The Pretty Blog to download the cover!

Mixed CD cover printables

There's nothing more nostalgic than listening to old mixed tapes. I recently stumbled on some of my own and each one brought back so many memories. There's something special about a group of selected songs, whether it's between friends or if it's just you boldly singing alone in your car. So for those who haven't lost their love for mixed tapes but probably don't own a cassette player anymore, I have made three easy to fold CD cover templates! You can choose between the road trip mix, the love mix (which can also make the perfect wedding gift for your guests) and a custom cover for any occasion. Head over to The Pretty Blog to download the templates!

A big thank you to Shannon Bradfield for the photos.

Love Lara

Last month I had a blast redesigning the branding and packaging for Love Lara, a local business selling handmade natural soap. This type of job doesn't come around often so I was super excited to add my touch to the project. I ended up making pillow case boxes for the soap with each flavour being distinguished by colour and an illustration.

Thank you tag printable

In the midst of wedding madness one can easily forget a small but important aspect to the day, so I have made one less thing to worry about in the form of thank you tags. Simply head over to The Pretty Blog and download the A4 printable to serve as either an accessory to your guest’s gifts on your wedding day, or save them for later to add to your thank you gifts or cards.

A big thanks to Shannon Bradfield for the photo.

Kid's Themed Custom Invite

For this Pretty Blog DIY I have created a "Double-Duty" invitation that can be used either for your child's birthday party or a baby shower. I've also thrown in a few extras that you can use as cake toppers or name tags, all in a pastel hot air balloon theme - tell me someone who doesn't love hot air balloons. All you need to do is head over to The Pretty Blog, download the files, print, cut and customise. A big thanks to Shannon Bradfield who took the lovely pictures. Have a lovely day!

If you're ever looking for a videographer..

I just watched Andrew and Lindsay's wedding video done by the talented Nick Waring. He is no stranger to my community as he did my sister's and best friend's wedding too :) I'm sure he laughs a little whenever he sees us at yet another wedding. (We just keep recommending him to anyone we know getting married)

So if you are looking, here are three videos to show you what you could be in for:

Recent work

I have been busy with some fun projects in the past few weeks and thought I would share them with you. The first is the save the date for a lovely PE couple - I will be getting stuck into the rest of their stationery set soon!

And this is a christening invite I did which had a whimsical pastel balloon theme, in case you didn't notice:)

Wedding - Andrew & Lindsay

Andrew and Lindsay got married at La Colline in Port Elizabeth on the 22 June and it was one beautiful wedding. It was natural and rustic with no strict colour palette and I wanted the design to reflect that. One of my favourite aspects was making the covers for the CD's that were given to each guest containing the songs from the wedding.

Birthday Scratch Card DIY

I am forever making hand made vouchers for birthdays, mother's/father's days etc. as a fun way of personalising a gift, so I thought a scratch card version would be a great DIY project. You can get the free printables and the super easy instructions over at The Pretty Blog. Have fun!

The Garden Set

I don't know who Samuel and Rachel are, but they inspired a new template design! Just like the last post these templates can be customised for your specific event so email me for a quote.
Have a lovely day!

Nic & Jean's Wedding Invites

I thought it was time I showed you what I've been busy with in the last while, so for now here are the invites for Nicholas & Jean's upcoming wedding. They opted for a more traditional design with a quirky colour scheme to liven things up.
